Event Details
Patient engagement and partnership asks both patient, family and caregiver partners, staff and researchers to work differently. While the idea of ‘nothing about us without us’ is a driving force behind this work, being able to systematically document and evaluate the impacts of engagement and partnering can help demonstrate its value, support further investment, and measure key outcomes of interest.
Join the us for a one-day workshop to learn from case studies of patient engagement evaluation across health research projects, networks, institutes, and health systems. We will share approaches and findings, along with successes and challenges faced along the way. By the end of the workshop, participants will have a good understanding of the range of evaluation tools available, how to use and choose between them, how to plan for and execute engagement evaluation activities with focus on measuring impact, and how to troubleshoot common challenges.
Who Should Attend?
- Researchers, engagement staff, trainees, and patient partners working actively in partnered research or within health system organizations with people with lived and living experience.
- Workshop participants should have a project or engagement initiative underway or in development that they would like to evaluate and can discuss during the working sessions.
